Qap (Anatomical Pathology)

Case: AP219
Contributor's Comment: The official diagnosis is Rhabdomyosarcoma, nasal. Although all participants recognized the lesion to be malignant, rhabdomyosarcoma should at least have been mentioned in the differential diagnosis or covered by immunostains. Marks were awarded according to the degree this diagnosis was considered. The presence of rather elongated cells with eosinophilic cytoplasm should have lead to diligent search for presence of cross-striations.
